WELCOME- USAFSS members who served at Darmstadt to Augsburg with Security Service
Units and Detachments.   From the days after WWII when Army ASA personnel converted to Air
Force Security Service and formed the 2nd RSM, our USAFSS history begins.   Many of our
members were those original 2nd RSM pioneers of those initial days.  

OUR MISSION: To Provide an "OPEN DISCUSSION FORUM"   for those assigned in the early
days when the 2nd RSM began at Herzo, transferred to Darmstadt, and through the days when
the Unit Name Changes Were   -   The 6911th RGM, The 6910th RGM, The 6910th Security
Wing, The 6910th Security Group, all the Way Until the 6910th moved to Augusburg Germany
and Closed around 1974.

This Discussion Forum from many Groups of the USAFSS that Changed Names All Have Much
in Common, and We Invite You to Join Your Brothers in Topics that are Similiar from the
Beginning of our History to the End at Augsburg.   If you are a spouse or a dependent of any of
those members, our history is also your history and you are most welcome to join our
membership.  

Currently, there are over 5,000 Photos on the Site with Tens of Thousands of Member Posts that
have been archived since January of 2002.
